Race against time: new hope for kids with Tough-to-Treat cancer

NCT ID NCT03165292

Summary

This study aimed to find a better way to treat children with very high-risk neuroblastoma, a serious childhood cancer, when standard first treatments don't work well. It compared two different sequences of powerful chemotherapy and stem cell transplants. The goal was to see which approach helped children live longer without their cancer getting worse or coming back.
