New Water-Based device tested to shrink enlarged prostate
NCT ID NCT05884580
Summary
This study aimed to test a new device called the Neuflo System for treating an enlarged prostate (BPH), which causes bothersome urinary problems. The device uses a gentle electrical current in water to remove excess prostate tissue through the urethra. Researchers wanted to see if it could safely and effectively improve symptoms like frequent urination and weak flow for up to a year. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only one participant.
