Scientists map nerve signals to improve stomach device
NCT ID NCT04207996
Summary
This study aims to better understand how a stomach stimulator device works for people with gastroparesis, a condition where the stomach empties too slowly. Researchers will place special electrode patches on the necks of 40 patients who already have the device implanted. They will measure the nerve signals produced by the device and see if they relate to the patient's symptoms.
