Scientists probe nerves to decode rare Muscle-Wasting diseases
NCT ID NCT07461896
Summary
This study aims to better understand and distinguish between different types of inherited and immune-related nerve disorders, like Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) and CIDP. Researchers will use specialized electrical tests and ultrasound scans on the nerves and muscles of about 39 adult participants who have these conditions. The goal is to gather detailed information that could help improve how these diseases are diagnosed and monitored in the future.
