Summary
This small pilot study is testing a device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear to see if it is safe and tolerable for people with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The study will involve 20 adults with moderate to advanced CKD. The goal is to gather early data to help design a larger study that might eventually lead to new treatments to reduce heart-related risks in CKD.
