NCT ID NCT05870527

ENROLLING_BY_INVITATION Knowledge-focused Sponsor: NYU Langone Health Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study aims to understand if stimulating a small nerve in the ear causes a pupil dilation response. It involves 30 adults who are already scheduled for cochlear implant or vagal nerve stimulator surgery. Researchers will measure changes in pupil size during the procedure to learn more about how this nerve connects to the body's automatic functions.
