Zapping nerves to stop bladder damage after spinal injury
NCT ID NCT07343583
Summary
This study is testing if gentle nerve stimulation can prevent serious bladder problems in people with recent spinal cord injuries. Researchers will compare two types of non-invasive stimulation (at the ankle or lower back) against standard care in 45 participants. The goal is to see if early treatment can stop harmful bladder overactivity from developing.
