First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear to reduce inflammation in people with moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis who haven't improved with standard treatments. About 128 participants will use either the active device or a sham (inactive) device daily for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this nerve stimulation can safely ease joint pain and swelling, offering a drug-free option for managing the disease.
