Summary
This study tested a small, non-invasive device placed on the ear that delivers gentle electrical pulses to calm the nervous system in children aged 2-17 with severe brain injury. The goal was to reduce sudden attacks of racing heart, high blood pressure, sweating, and muscle stiffness. The study was stopped early, but it aimed to see if this approach is practical and tolerable for future research.
