First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested two non-invasive nerve stimulation methods—one on the ankle and one on the lower back—to see if they could reduce overactive bladder symptoms in women with multiple sclerosis. 42 women took part, and the researchers measured changes in bladder function and quality of life. The goal was to find a safe, drug-free way to manage a common and bothersome MS symptom.
