Summary

This study tests if a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear (taVNS) can reduce depression symptoms in people who have had a heart attack and a stent procedure. 120 adults with mild-to-moderate depression will use the device at home for 8 weeks, and researchers will track mood changes and heart health. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to improve mental health after a cardiac event.
