Electric nerve zap could help amputees walk Pain-Free

Summary

This study tests an implanted nerve stimulator (Altius®) in 32 leg amputees who still have pain after nerve surgery (TMR or RPNI). Participants will get the device and report changes in pain, prosthesis use, and quality of life over time. The goal is to see if direct nerve stimulation can reduce persistent pain and help people use their prosthetic limb more.
