Ear-Zap device may tame alcohol withdrawal symptoms

Summary
This study tests a small device that sends mild electrical pulses to a nerve in the ear to help people with alcohol use disorder manage withdrawal symptoms. Twenty adults will wear the device for 5 days during detox, and half will receive a placebo version. Researchers will measure withdrawal severity, cravings, and brain changes using MRI scans.
