NCT ID NCT01498211
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study aims to establish what normal nerve fiber density looks like in healthy adults aged 20 to 80. By taking small skin samples from 300 volunteers without pain or nerve problems, researchers hope to create a reference range that can help doctors better diagnose small fiber neuropathy. The focus is on collecting data, not testing a treatment.
