New shot in the hip tested for sciatica pain in the ER
NCT ID NCT07397117
Summary
This study is testing if a targeted nerve-block injection in the hip provides better pain relief than standard care for adults coming to the emergency room with severe sciatica. Researchers will compare pain levels and walking ability between two groups: one receiving the nerve block and one receiving standard treatments. The goal is to find a faster, more effective way to manage this intense back and leg pain in the emergency setting.
