New study aims to ease pain after gallbladder surgery with targeted nerve blocks

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks given during gallbladder removal surgery to see which one helps patients recover better. About 76 adults having planned laparoscopic gallbladder surgery will be randomly assigned to one of two block techniques. The main goal is to measure recovery quality 24 hours after surgery using a simple questionnaire, along with pain levels and nausea.
