Nerve block for surgery pain: does timing affect your heart?
NCT ID NCT07058194
Summary
This study looked at whether the timing of a specific pain-blocking injection (Erector Spinae Plane block) affects heart electrical patterns in people having gallbladder removal surgery. Researchers compared giving the block before surgery, after surgery, or not at all. They measured heart activity and pain levels to understand if the timing of the block influences heart safety or pain control.
