Back surgery breakthrough? simple nerve block could slash Post-Op pain
NCT ID NCT04473508
Summary
This study tested whether a simple, targeted nerve block could reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers like morphine after lower back surgery. Researchers compared the nerve block using a local anesthetic against a placebo in 50 patients. The goal was to see if this approach could provide better pain control in the days following surgery.
