Nerve block may ease organ failure in sepsis patients

Summary
This study tests whether a nerve block in the back (erector spinae plane block) can improve organ function in people with sepsis and acute gut injury. About 116 adults in the ICU will receive the block plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal is to see if the block reduces organ failure severity.
