Nerve block trial offers hope for sepsis patients with failing organs
NCT ID NCT05623722
Summary
This study is testing if a specific nerve block injection can help improve organ function in patients with severe infections (sepsis) who also have significant gut injury. Researchers will compare patients who receive the nerve block to those who receive standard care alone. The main goal is to see if this procedure reduces overall organ failure and improves recovery.
