Stanford tests neck injection to calm racing heart in POTS

NCT ID NCT06953661

Summary

This small Stanford study is testing if a nerve-blocking injection in the neck can help control symptoms of Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Twenty adults with POTS will be randomly assigned to receive either the real injection or a placebo shot. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, and heart rate to see if the treatment provides relief.
