ER doctors test quick nerve block to zap knee pain

NCT ID NCT07158736

Summary

This study is testing whether a targeted nerve block is better than standard pain medicine for people who come to the emergency room with knee pain. About 34 adults with moderate to severe knee pain will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block or usual care. Researchers will compare how much pain relief each group gets and how long it lasts.
