New nerve block could help hip surgery patients walk sooner with less pain

NCT ID NCT06183528

Summary

This study is testing if a specific nerve block given before hip replacement surgery helps patients recover better. Researchers will compare 60 patients who get the block to those who don't. They want to see if the block reduces pain after surgery, lowers the need for strong painkillers, and allows patients to get up and walk faster.
