Numbing shot could ease pain of common heart tests
NCT ID NCT06576128
Summary
This study is testing if a targeted numbing injection, called a TAP block, can reduce pain for patients undergoing common heart procedures like angiograms. Researchers will give the nerve block to some patients and compare their pain and satisfaction levels to patients who do not receive it. The goal is to see if this method makes the procedure more comfortable for patients and easier for doctors to perform.
