Numbing shot could ease pain of frozen shoulder treatment

NCT ID NCT07380087

Summary

This study is testing if a numbing injection (nerve block) given right before a standard shoulder treatment makes the procedure easier to tolerate and helps people recover better. 50 adults with a painful, stiff 'frozen shoulder' will be randomly assigned to get the standard treatment alone or the nerve block first. Researchers will measure pain, shoulder movement, and quality of life for 3 months to see which approach works best.
