Targeted nerve block could ease pain after ear operations
NCT ID NCT06869967
Summary
This study is testing whether a precise nerve block, guided by ultrasound, can help control pain after middle ear surgery. The goal is to see if this method reduces the need for strong painkillers like morphine and improves patient comfort. Researchers are enrolling 56 adults undergoing specific types of ear surgery to compare pain levels and medication use.
