New nerve block could ease Kids' pain after cleft surgery
NCT ID NCT07279883
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to see if using a specific nerve block during cleft palate surgery helps children after their operation. Researchers want to know if this block reduces the need for strong painkillers like morphine and helps kids go home from the hospital sooner. The study involves about 150 children who had surgery in 2017 or 2018.
