Summary
This study tested whether a specific nerve block could reduce pain after breast cancer surgery that includes reconstruction. It involved 100 patients who were randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block plus standard anesthesia or just standard anesthesia. The main goal was to see if the nerve block lowered pain scores at 6 hours after surgery and improved overall recovery.
