Summary
This study tested if a special numbing injection, called an erector spinae plane (ESP) block, could help control pain after back surgery. Researchers compared 102 patients who got the block to those who received standard pain medication. They measured pain levels, how much strong painkiller was needed, and how soon patients could get up and move after surgery.
