Summary
This study is testing whether a nerve block procedure can reduce pain caused by radiation therapy during anal cancer treatment. The procedure involves injecting numbing medicine near the tailbone to block pain signals. Researchers want to see if this helps patients complete their cancer treatment with fewer breaks due to pain. The study is enrolling 5 adults with localized anal cancer who are experiencing significant pain during treatment.
