Hope for lung scarring: new pill aims to slow disease worsening

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called nerandomilast in adults with a type of lung scarring (fibrosing ILD) that is not IPF. About 466 participants will take either the drug or a placebo for at least 52 weeks to see if it helps slow the decline in lung function. The goal is to keep the disease from getting worse and help people breathe better for longer.
