Eye drops before surgery may boost vision recovery
NCT ID NCT07736690
First seen Jul 30, 2026 · Last updated Jul 31, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This trial tests whether adding nepafenac eye drops before and after surgery for epiretinal membrane (a wrinkle on the retina) can help the eye heal faster. Sixty adults with this condition will either receive the drops plus standard care or standard care alone. Researchers will measure vision sharpness and retinal thickness over six months to see if the drops make a difference.
