Which baby facemask is best? new study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07524517
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at two different facemasks (round and triangular) used with two hands to help newborn babies who need help breathing. Researchers want to see which mask causes less air leakage, so babies get the full breathing support they need. About 50 babies in the neonatal unit will take part, and each will be randomly assigned to one mask type.
