Summary
This study involves 1,000 full-term pregnancies and aims to improve how doctors detect oxygen deprivation in babies during labor. Researchers will re-examine fetal heart rate recordings using a new physiology-based method and compare them with blood tests from the umbilical cord. The goal is to better identify signs of distress and improve monitoring for safer deliveries.
