Could immunotherapy before surgery shrink colon tumors?
NCT ID NCT07224022
First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 38 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving two immunotherapy drugs (cemiplimab and fianlimab) before surgery can safely shrink colon tumors in people with stage II-III colon cancer that hasn't spread. About 24 participants will receive two IV doses before their tumor is removed. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and doesn't delay surgery, and to track cancer recurrence for up to three years after surgery.
