Scientists track pain Pill's journey through the body
NCT ID NCT07491393
Summary
This study aims to understand how the body absorbs and processes nefopam tablets, a non-opioid pain medication, in patients hospitalized with sudden, severe rheumatic pain. Researchers will measure how quickly the drug reaches the bloodstream, how long it stays in the body, and how much is absorbed by comparing tablet and intravenous forms. The goal is to gather better data on how this approved pain reliever works specifically for acute musculoskeletal pain.
