Tapping away tears: can a simple touch ease Kids' shot fears?
NCT ID NCT07468227
Summary
This study aims to see if two simple, drug-free techniques can make shots less scary and painful for children in the emergency room. Researchers will test a quick skin tap and a gentle vibration against standard care in about 186 kids aged 5 to 10. They will measure the children's pain and fear levels right before and after the injection to see which method works best.
