Needle instead of knife: new hernia fix tested for frail patients
NCT ID NCT07267494
Summary
This study is testing a new, less invasive way to fix hernias using a needle guided by ultrasound or CT scans, instead of traditional surgery. It's for adults who cannot or do not want to have standard hernia operations. Researchers will check if this approach is safe and if it improves patients' quality of life over eight months.
