First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compared a needle-free injector to a traditional dental needle for numbing the palate in 50 children aged 6-16 needing a permanent molar extraction. The goal was to see if the needle-free method causes less pain. Pain was measured using two standard scales from video recordings of the children's reactions.
