Promising new scan could light up hidden cancer targets

NCT ID NCT07319130

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a new type of PET/CT scan that uses a special radioactive tracer to find a protein called Nectin-4 on solid tumors like breast, bladder, and lung cancers. The goal is to see if this scan can clearly show where these tumors are in the body, which could help doctors plan better treatments. Ten adults with confirmed Nectin-4-positive tumors will receive the tracer and then be scanned to measure how well it works.
