First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a new device called the Nectero EAST System in 46 people with abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), a bulging in the main blood vessel in the belly. The goal is to see if the device can safely stop the aneurysm from growing larger, which could lower the risk of a dangerous rupture. Participants receive the device during a procedure, and doctors check for safety and measure the aneurysm size over 36 months.
