Summary

This study tested whether Cognitive Functional Therapy works better than conventional physical therapy for adults with chronic neck pain. Sixty participants received either the new mind-body approach or standard treatment twice weekly for eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain intensity, neck disability, fear of movement, and quality of life.
