Summary
This study tested a treatment for people with whiplash from a recent car accident. One group did exercises alone, while the other group also received a special needle treatment (percutaneous neuromodulation) on a nerve in the neck. The goal was to see if the combined approach better reduced neck disability and pain. The study involved 44 adults with mild to moderate whiplash.
