Doctors test 'Liquid Gold' inhaler to fight fatal lung scarring

NCT ID NCT07372989

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether a mist made from donated human amniotic fluid is safe and might help people with interstitial lung disease (ILD), a condition that causes progressive scarring of the lungs. The trial will enroll 50 adults with ILD to inhale the experimental treatment and closely monitor them for side effects and any early signs of improved breathing. The main goal is to gather safety data to see if this approach is worth studying in larger future trials.
