First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This small study tested a wearable device that uses electrical stimulation to help people who had a stroke walk farther and more efficiently. Four participants completed 12 training sessions over 4-5 weeks. The goal was to see if the device is practical and improves walking endurance and symmetry. This is an early feasibility study, not a cure.
