Swallow a tracer, skip the scope: new imaging test for esophagus disease
NCT ID NCT05757856
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested two radioactive imaging agents (NDX-3315 and NDX-3324) in 34 adults—some healthy, some with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). The goal was to see if these agents can safely and accurately detect EoE inflammation using SPECT scans, potentially replacing the need for repeated biopsies. The study focused on safety and how well the imaging results matched biopsy findings.
