Summary
This study tested a special UV light (narrow-band UVB) shone inside the mouth to treat painful sores from chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD), a complication after bone marrow transplant. Eleven participants received the light therapy to see if it could ease symptoms and be practical for daily use. The trial was stopped early, but the goal was to find a gentler way to manage mouth GVHD without strong drugs.
