First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested whether shining a special narrow-band UVB light inside the mouth could help people with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) who have painful mouth sores. Eleven participants, aged 4 and older, received the light treatment to see if it would improve their symptoms. The goal was to find a convenient and tolerable way to manage this long-term condition.
