New drug targets Hard-to-Treat lung cancer in early trial

Summary
This phase 2 trial tests a drug called navlimetostat in about 130 people with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific genetic change (MTAP deletion) and has worsened after other treatments. The main goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors. Researchers will also monitor safety and how long any benefit lasts.
