Summary

This study tested a device called NaviFUS™ that uses focused ultrasound to calm overactive brain areas in people with drug-resistant epilepsy. Twelve adults whose seizures were not controlled by medication received the treatment. The goal was to see if the device is safe and can reduce how often seizures happen.
